FRANKLIN Construction Beaudesert Tigers have taken out another premiership without a ball being bowled after the weekend's grand final clash against the Jimboomba Bushrangers was washed out.
The Tigers were placed second at the close of the regular season, higher than the Bushrangers who were fourth.
The teams met on three occasions throughout the one day season with the Tigers winning all three matches.
THE Beaudesert under 15s/16s were named the premiers of the Beaudesert/Beenleigh district for the season.
The team was denied the chance to play the Springwood Suns at the weekend because of poor weather.
However being minor premiers meant the team automatically became premiers and won the competition.
BEAUDESERT was defeated in its grand final match against Kuraby by one run at the weekend.
On day one Beaudesert was behind on runs and braved the showers to continue on Sunday.
Keegan O'Donnell fought hard in the first session scoring 34 from 25 balls, a wicket, a great catch and a run out.
Kyle Ralston scored 16 on the first day and took three wickets in second session.
Kyle with grit and determination, and great hitting power, got the team to one run off Kuraby's total, hitting five fours and three sixes.
Kevin Worth showed great starch, batting with Kyle for 60 balls, easily his best effort all season.
Will Conway, Kane Neuendorff, and Josh McMillian all chipped in with one wicket each.
At the end of the match Beaudesert was 8/213 and Kuraby finished on 8/214.
